thefuturistmusic, it’s just that the wordpress servers aren’t particularly suited for file distribution – i have tried a couple dozen times now (scripted, wget) and they always stall after a couple of megabytes and i have to retry again from scratch because the configuration of the wordpress server doesn’t allow continue. the furthest i got was 40% into the set. about any free file hoster would do better.

Let me know if you experience any more problems with this MP3. It’s hosted on WordPress servers, so it should work fine to download.

This is an absolutely killer mix. I love Mike Dehnert. I hate to be the biggest fanboy, but I probably am. Haha. Only for him, thankfully. If you haven’t heard it, search out his Live at Nature One mix for even more mayhem and utter pleasure. I think this mix really takes off at about 13:40. After 15 minutes in that track’s kick is just KILLER. So good. Then we go funky again, back to madness, more madness, more funk, ta da da. Amazing. Wild about that “speysh” (space?) disorted vocal ~ 30 mins in, too.

And “ahhh”, the beginning is massive, you’re right. Likely all Dehnert cuts, as this is a live set through and through. Over time they’ll trickle down to the punters like us, but this man is a true wizard. Makes all his own tracks. Mostly spins all his own tracks. And definitely so in the live sets.
